Episode Show Notes

In this 5th episode, know WHO and WHAT inspired me to launch my own podcast and WHY you can make an impact by creating your own show as well.

I also recommended global and Filipino podcasts that can add value to your daily life. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed recording it, and may you be excited to launch your own podcast NOW.

I had fears and doubts

I had fears and doubts before I launched my podcast, Unboxing Catholicism, but through the help and inspiration of friends and other content creators such as Kirby Llaban of the Fired Up Life podcast, I realized how podcasting can be powerful.

I used to struggle, thinking of the following:

  • What should I talk about?
  • Will anyone listen to me?
  • How can I be relevant since there are already big names talking about my topic?

All those concerns are debunked towards the end of the episode, but for now, let us briefly discuss WHY you should consider launching your own podcast.

Here’s a summary of the main points in this episode.

It is powerful.

Influencers and entrepreneurs like Seth Godin and Pat Flynn already weighed in on this – podcasting is the new blogging. This platform holds a huge potential in adding immense value to people and driving positive business growth.

It is personal.

Unlike a blog or vlog content, podcasting allows content creators to literally “get in the minds” of listeners and talk to them in a very personal and intimate level. It’s like chatting with a friend while drinking coffee.

It is flexible.

I think this is the most powerful edge of this platform. One can reach everyone whatever they do wherever they are. Unlike a blog or a vlog that requires sustained focus and attention, podcasts can create value and add impact even it’s just playing on the background.

Launch your show now.

Everyone has stories, insights, and interests that they can share to bless people around the world. Their passion and gifts can change someone’s life once unboxed.

What are you waiting for? Launch that show now.
