Bernz O. Caasi is a millennial on a mission to inspire and empower young people to unleash their untapped potential, know their passion, and discover their purpose in life. For eight years already, he has been giving talks around the country for thousands of students, parents, and other professionals about life, love, and leadership.
He was also the main host of his own motivational radio program, School of Life, which was produced by his friend and mentor, Pocholo de leon Gonzales in DZRJ 810 khz under 8TriMedia Broadcasting Network. In the same network, he was also the program head of 7 advocacy radio and TV shows. On some occasions, Bernz also guested or hosted in Rappler, Radyo Veritas, Catholic Media Network, CBCP News, Global News Network, DZIQ, and DZRH.
His leadership journey started in high school when he became the student council president of his high school and Quezon City. He also served as the Quezon City Youth Mayor during his time and he received various awards such as the Gerry Roxas Leadership Award and Vice President Binay Leadership Award.
In college, he was the first in the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) to be recognized in the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines – NCR. Before graduating cum laude under the BS Human Capital Development (Major in Organizational Learning and Psychology) program, he was also the first in the School of Education and Human Development to have been recognized as the Organization President of the Year in the esteemed 2016 Unitas Leadership Awards.
After being with Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) as a Learning and Development intern for a year, he now works at PAREF Northfield School for Boys as a teacher, mentor, student media/publication adviser, and the Human Resources Specialist.
Being passionate about helping people, Bernz is also actively involved in Educhild (Education for the Upbringing of Children), an international organization helping individuals, couples, and families be truly happy and be the best versions of themselves.
He is a facilitator in Educhild-LEAP (Life Endeavors and Projects), a program for young professionals on career, relationships, and personal development; and in Educhild-NPEP (New Parents Education Program), a course for new parents in PAREF schools. Every last Sunday of the month, he and his mom also go to Payatas to help in Alalay at Gabay ng Pamilyang Pilipino, an Educhild program for newly-wed couples in the community of Consuelo Chito Madrigal Foundation.
At a young age of 23, he has already worked with various people in different projects and programs for the youth, family, community, and society.
